This will put a smile on your face!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=frb9ACe5n-c
looks like it was done indoors inside a shop with customers cars parked close by...glad nothing went wrong...
All I kept thinking is "Dear God please let the smoke billowing out mask the independent front suspension so I can't see it". Sure sounded healthy though!
check out the lights getting blasted by the exhaust, I think that's what falls at the end. beautiful car, the independent front was a sad sight
I did that at the dealership once when the boss was gone. I forgot about the evidence left on the floor.
Now just WHO hasen't done that at least once? Never in nothing as cool but it's all FUN till someone gets hurt!
Sorry about the front end I just bought this and am in the process of changing it over to a straight axle, I needed to move the car and just wanted to feel the excitement again of the old altered days(hence the suit). I will take that video down and post up a new one when the axle gets changed back over to the 32 heavy straight axle and as far as the other cars in my garage there was plenty of room. No Worries mate
In the title of your video, you use the term Drag Rat. Is that a South American thing? I'm not looking for a debate on rat rods. I just want to know, if that's what hot rods are called down there?
Damn, looked like fun to me. That shop looked clean till he stabbed the throttle and all the dust fell out of the light fixtures.
Calling the guy an idiot for using a Hot Rod for what it was built for?! You guys really need to chill out. You sound like a bunch of old women. What's the big deal? It's his car, shop, tires, and money. And who else could he hurt but himself? FWIW it looks pretty controlled to me. Carry on bobby socks I thought it was cool. But I guess I'm one of those irresponsible hot rodders myself.
I wouldn't appologize for shit!!! That was bad ass!!! There just pissed their Prius will not do that!!!!
That was pretty bitchin. I laughed at the dust comming off the rafters when he stood on it. Looks like fun. Cheers!
I have a neighbor like that he is 4 doors down in the same building where i have a spot. did a burnout in his shop, which filled all the other shops in the building with tire smoke. always doing burnouts in customer cars. he had a friend over in his electrician van who did powerstands in the parking lot on more than one occasion, I took a photo of him once and sent it to the name on the side of the van. funny, I never saw that van in the parking lot again. my idiot neighbor also once lost control of a customers vette and ran it over a curb and into the wall of the shop next door. pushed the wall in a good 4 feet, luckily there was nothing on the other side of the wall. it is always safe until you lose control and hit something.
