'Fabulous Fords Forever' 33rd annual event, sponsored by FoMoCo April 25, 2018 @ Knott's Berry Farm Buena Park, CA (Orange County) ...back with more hopefully H.A.M.B.-worthy imagery from annual "Fabulous Fords Forever" event organized by fans of the Blue Oval Brand and sponsored faithfully by it namesake, FoMoCo. It's a free for all (figuratively & literally) for spectators and in scope. Starting at 9am & ending at 3pm, anyone can walk in once all the participants have parked their entries in the designated areas selected for their particular make & model domestic/foreign Ford vehicle, foreign Ford-powered vehicle and other brand off-shoots from Mercury, Lincoln and Edsel from the company's inception to present. Lots of new model interactive displays, vendor & builder displays (for on-road/off-road, trials to track to touring and anything else related to the brand). It's a free, must see for Ford fans if you've never been because it's library card catalogue-like organization allow the spectator to peruse a particular part of the parking lot and ogle the particular make & model they prefer; all Shelby Cobras here, all F-100 pickups over there, all pre-48 Ford in this place, all Broncos in that place & over there is a sea of Mustangs lined up by year & model (convert.'s to Boss 302's, California Specials to Cobra-Jets, and all the rest past to present). There is also a great P.A. & music during the event located at the "Showcase" area where many clubs and organizations are lined up offering membership information and the "featured" vehicles for the event are displayed (this year was 1930-31 model 'A's, Edsels, Torinos, Courgars and 1953-55 F-1's). If you're into all things Blue Oval, it's worth the time just once. Best of all, one can look good planning a family vacation to Knott's Berry Farm (which is arguably worth a visit itself) that corresponds with next year's event. You can act like it was a coincidence the show was being held the same weekend of your So. Cal. family trip. Enjoy the view & will have more to see from someplace else soon....PRE48V-8\:^] P.S./Dude in the T-shirt? Just local So. Cal fast food nostalgia. "Pup 'n' Taco" a drive-thru joint that offered cheap tube steaks, burgers, fries & hard-shell ground beef tacos & tostadas from the 1960's thru 1970's that went the way of the similar joints (remember Tastee-Freeze & the 'Tastee-T') in the early 1980's......
