It's a damn fordor. Here this is my dream find and it has an extra pair of doors. Some friends and I stumbled across a 33 ford fordor sedan sitting outside in a pasture. On the way to bring home now so should have pictures soon. Grill is gone so that drops the value considerably, but the chassis is intact. My question is what is the body worth? What is chassis worth? As I intend to offload the body and hang on to the chassis. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Man! That thing is nice! Hope you can get it. If you decide to get it and want to sell the doors, let me know! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Hang on a second there partner. Your name is Barrett and you're asking for the value of a '33 Ford? Do you have a buddy named Jackson? The two of you are responsible for jacking the prices of old cars big time over the past couple of decades. I'm not sure we should answer your question.......
My good friend has wound up becoming the buyer... No way I could own that car. My criminalistic tendencies would make me wear pinstripes and rob financial institutions... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Haha, if I'm involved in that mess I've never seen a dime... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Hope you plan to pay for it. The gent in that farmhouse behind it might have a good load of buckshot in his 12 gage.
I just got word the grille was found in some nearby junk. So we're thinking at least $22.50 Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
If the body is solid with a good floor and the frame is basically straight, I would think it could bring up to 5 grand.
Really you found the grill ? You might want to look through that junk pile and see if the hood and other items are in there. Need pictures
Yep, but its all but gone, on the way out to take pictures now Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
damn, finding it that complete is amazing, too bad the cows walked on the hood and the grille is toast....good score!
It had to have been more than me, I offered up what I had in my pocket. Which at that time was a little more than the can of snuff and 5 bucks I usually tote around... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I agree. The body alone is easily a couple of grand. It looks solid as well as the floor. Rolling chassis at least a grand. Hell, bare 33/4 frames go for $500+ if they're solid. The car has the inner front fenders, window garnish moldings, dash, column and lock. Its relatively untouched. The O/P is complaining that he found a 33 in a pasture and it turned out to be a lowly 4 door. Kills me, lol. To find that scene in Socal, you would have to go back 40-50 years. What year are the license plates laying on the front floor? Might give a clue as to when it last ran.
I found one of those in much worse shape , 1st day back at my place, and what it is now.....my project woulda been much easier if I started with your car,it has lots of potential
