The mechanical issues are a safety problem
But the rest of it,,

Out here in So Cal it would be called Car Art, and I have actually seen some stuff that would make that truck look plain. And it seems the closer one drives to Hollyweird, there are more of them. Coincident?
Maybe the Mattel warehouse here in San Berdo would like it for their lobby?

5. a friend of mine said the same thing this morning, he just couldn't stop looking at it.

it sucks you in........like the scene in "raiders of the lost ark", when they opened the ark

yep.

rumor has it the previous owner was a colorful rancher named woody, who sounded like Tom Hanks and lived out that way.;)
Holy crap! I'm actually sitting here in front of my monitor with my mouth hanging open, at a complete loss for words. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this. Wait, I have to go back and look at the pictures again. :)
Saxman,
It's kind of like driving past a car accident...you know you shouldn't look but somehow you can't seem to help yourself...

Ted, if you decide to pull back the boot on the master cylinder to look in there...you'd better wear a raincoat

TB -

Good news. Is it coming to Monroe or a town close by (Newtown/Trumbull, maybe?).

Your friend Steve got ahold of me and I ended up selling him a bunch of Chevy truck parts.

I'd leave it. It looks like the best part of the whole truck.

Tb - Sold the truck they came with, and I still have some parts if you know of anyone else who needs stuff. A hood, bumper, radiator support, inner fenders, plus some other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

17. Bonus option, when you rev the motor, the fan blows various doors and hoods open........looks like feeding time at the zoo.
truck left today, with all the crap still on it.
drive shaft worked out great and the truck really drove nice, keep your eyes open for this at the next car show.

All that time spent on junk, and the wiring was a mess, hopefully some of that cleaned up. Good looking truck under the gee gaws, nice looking paint.

What a hilarious thread! My sides ache. Although, I'm sure the mechanical part wasn't so hilarious to you. Ted, I've got a buddy who's building a '52 AD PU and I've been trying to give him some pointers on things he shud or cud do. I gotta send him these pix. He'll think I've completely lost my marbles!!
