Brought home a really nice 3 window this afternoon. I had to sell my green roadster quick, but I think it was worth it. This was actualy listed here in the classifieds..turns out it was close by so I went and had a look...and wound up making a deal.

The car is super solid and was probably built in the early 60's and then maybe a little more was done in the 80's. Traditional east coast stance....a 4 inch channel the height of the frame and an unchopped top. Old chrome plated grill shell and the garnish moldings were even there and chrome too.... Chome plated 37 round axle and juice brakes....57 rear.Dash with glove box door and cigar lighter...all body wood perfect..header and winshield wiper motor intact... all the glass is intact and in good shape...regulators in door working..........it's really unbelievable...has some neat chrome side cowl vents too and a nifty little rear roll pan that they used a 32 hood top to make.

I'd like to find some history on the car. My initial plans are to leave it as survivor, put a motor in with period goodies and get her running down the road....go over the front and rear supension, frame, and brakes....nothing fancy.

Love the chrome grille shell, love the '37 Axle......hate the fact that you took such shitty pics of such a cool find.

When you say nothing fancy in terms of engine....I hope you mean Early Hemi, Olds Rocket, or a mean 301 Chevy. If so....carry on.

Guess you will have a good winter in Pa playing with that project. Awesome.

I knew there had to be a reason for the smoking deal on your roadster. Great find!

I say leave the wheels and paint it black with a big firebird painted on the hood. Smokey and the Bandit style.

Well then, I think a real deal 301 Chevy with a 4spd behind it would be a perfect choice. I would spend the next couple months digging up some history like I know you will be.

I am really interested to see and hear a 301 as they were so highly revered back in the day. That thing screaming down the track at next years Jalopy Drags would by music to my ears.

  23. Why can't i find this in Europe.
All i find is Euro styl Tudors with suicide doors, nothing wrong with that but a nice 3W like this and my collection is complete (well i know that's not possible, a collection is never complete)
