Hot Rods 32' 4 inch drop , what's needed

    I am fortunate enough too have two HotRod's ,
    One car is down & will be for a while,
    The other car in Pretty much a Original car
    32 Ford sedan , stock Front end, None split wishbone's
    32 steer box
    39 motor & trans
    40 brakes, 40 style steer arm ,
    32 shock's ,
    I have installed a Posies front reverse eye spring
    I will be replacing the Original 32 axle with another Orignal 32 with a 4 inch drop .
    Besides shorting the Tie Rod , & maybe a Kingpin kit , Will there be any other
    Part's or Modification needed ,
    I dive One of my car's every Day , just would like to have all covered ,
    Hope to be a Few hour Job ,
    I know this is a very common change ,I read several Thread , hear on HAMB & the Ford Barn

    Probably going to have to bend the spindle arms, I prefer to do that with the axle held in a vice, when your done your probably going to have to replace the bushings also
     
  3. Check for clearance between the tire and front fender, both straight ahead and when turning. I think I can remember trying that on my Avatar and having an interference problem but it has been 40+ years ago and I may be remembering wrong.
