Even though it's not finished I got the big idea to take it to a local show. I thought people might like to see something under construction. Couldn't get ahold of my buddy to borrow his trailer so I whipped up a tow bar and pulled it like the old timers did with their race cars.
Here is my '34 project, been a slow build the last couple years. 8ba with Fenton 2 pot, old Offy heads, '39 3 speed, 3.73 open banjo, '40 juice brakes, '36 wide five wheels. 4 1/4" chop, 5" channel. Thinking of selling as I have my eye on a new project!
1934 RPU (Open Cab Pickup to be exact) that I picked up earlier this year. The chassis is coming down later this year. I think total # is around 250-350 made, 100 or so with V8. Going to drop a rebuilt 8BA in it with an early 70s toploader that I converted to top shift, 48 front brakes I'm converting to Bendix, and an open drive rear. I want it built for safe cruisin!!
