Thanks for posting the chassis update photos. It looks awesome.
Not really a full blown update, just a little progress. Brake lines finished, engine/tranny installed hopefully for the last time.
OMG! That looks great!!! MORE MORE!! Post more!!!

That Chassis is spot on man! I can't wait to see the body on in just to prove how dead on the stance looks right now.

Wow! From Beater to Neater!
That thing is Show-Rod beautiful, Sho-nuff!
Looks good Dave but one thing I dont like.SBC?

That does it! My '30 Roadster is going on a a '32 chassis, like that rear spring and mount. Thanks for posting the update!
Digging the blue, the stance, and of course, the wide-whites! well done! Would like to see more when you can.

So when do you want help with the wiring and engine fire-up?
I'm free from August 21 to August 24.
Any updates? I am think of joining the club, since I qualify now.
Nothing major. I've sealed and coated the floor and now I'm doing finish body work on the firewall so I can bolt the body to the frame for hopefully the last time. So you've got a Vicky now? Welcome to the club.
Wow it is really coming together. I have one more car to build before I can start on my Vicky. But I am glad to see yours is coming along. I can't wait for the body to go on as well.
looks good ,had to look twice at the front brakes -very cool!
Everything is looking super - it's going to be a stunner once completed.
I just picked up on this thread and I'm glad I did. I'm in awe at the work you guys do ...
Looks good I think you will be driving before me.
I guess I better give this a bump. Not sure how I missed all this.
And uhhh..... You suck.
Now I have to go work on mine until I feel better.
Looks great, what is that color off of????
Now you're just lying. I have yet to make anything that pretty.
I have to tell you, in a world of over-building, your frame stands out. It is simple and functional art. That k-member is absolutely perfect.
Dave your Vicky is looking groovy. Nice clean work, all business. Can't wait to see the body mounted.
thats a good looking chassis!!!!!!!!cool color.
Well, I wet sanded the primer on the firewall again, sealed it to the cowl sides with seam sealer, and shot another coat of primer. It looks like the pic I posted on page three so no need to post it again.
In between sanding, I started looking at my cowl top to decide what I needed to do to it to get it ready to go on. I decided to weld in the cowl vent (33 Ford pickup) before permanently bolting the top on. Here are a few pics:
Centering the vent in the cowl top:
Pieces cut and fit:
First time using my new panel clamps; I love 'em but I need more:
Vent lid and cowl placed into position for pic:
WOW!!!! That looks GREAT!!!!! Always impressed and allways looking forward to more!! Keep in coming!!
(can't believe someone actually gave this thread less than five stars!!! There are some weird people here)
