Thanks for posting the chassis update photos. It looks awesome.

  2. Not really a full blown update, just a little progress. Brake lines finished, engine/tranny installed – hopefully for the last time.

That Chassis is spot on man! I can't wait to see the body on in just to prove how dead on the stance looks right now.

So when do you want help with the wiring and engine fire-up?

Any updates? I am think of joining the club, since I qualify now.

  18. Nothing major. I've sealed and coated the floor and now I'm doing finish body work on the firewall so I can bolt the body to the frame for hopefully the last time. So you've got a Vicky now? Welcome to the club.:D

Wow it is really coming together. I have one more car to build before I can start on my Vicky. But I am glad to see yours is coming along. I can't wait for the body to go on as well.

Now you're just lying. I have yet to make anything that pretty.

I have to tell you, in a world of over-building, your frame stands out. It is simple and functional art. That k-member is absolutely perfect.

  28. Well, I wet sanded the primer on the firewall again, sealed it to the cowl sides with seam sealer, and shot another coat of primer. It looks like the pic I posted on page three so no need to post it again.

In between sanding, I started looking at my cowl top to decide what I needed to do to it to get it ready to go on. I decided to weld in the cowl vent (33 Ford pickup) before permanently bolting the top on. Here are a few pics:

Centering the vent in the cowl top:

    Pieces cut and fit:

First time using my new panel clamps; I love 'em but I need more: IMG_0101.jpg

Vent lid and cowl placed into position for pic:
