I may have the option to pick this up and I was wondering about what it is worth in this condition. I have the cowl section, both sides, rear door, both doors, and the old rotted wood floor. I think the pieces above the door are there as well. Its not in rear bad shape but does have some rust.

That's my all-time favorite body style and originals are nearly impossible to find anymore - I've spent years looking. There was a time when I'd have paid $5000 or more for that body and be happy to get it...but that's just me.

    1500- 2k to start with.

How bad do you want it or need it? Looks solid.

  4. Man that's a tidy looking body, I'd love to get my hands on an A delivery.

I'm not going to value it.
If the wood is not there or if there, not in good condition, you're looking at a monumental task.
I rebuilt a '31 several years ago, fabricating all new wood, a big job.

No frame. Just as it sits. I know there are more pieces laying around to it but Ill have to dig them out. I may try to get it out today and get better pictures of it all. Its pretty clean really.

Is the frame for the delivery any different than a car or light truck frame?

Are the doors included? The doors on the deliverys were different than all the rest the beltline is either a little more narrow or wider I can't remember which, fenders were a little more narrow too, but that's not a big deal if you're not restoring it, back door on the other hand are rare as hen's teeth!

Yes the doors are there too I believe. Ill get it all out today and see what is there. The back door is there but its probably the roughest part of it all.

The fenders front & rear & the front doors are the same as a two door sedan.

Maybe that is true on the 30-31 not positive but I know for a fact on the 28-9 the doors and rear fenders are different because I own and restored one

If you go measure the beltline on a 29 sedan delivery then go measure the beltline on a sedan they will be different, not much maybe a quarter inch but you try to line it up with the body line and it will drive you nuts! I ended up repairing the not very good delivery door on mine because I just couldn't get it the sedan to look right. I talked to an old timer about it back in the late 70's he worked at ford in the 20's He said the delivery body and doors were stamped at a different plant than the rest because it was a limited body style and their stamps were different than the rest.

I think you need to get some sort of baseline to work with money wise. With no frame your more or less in the drivers seat as very few people will be able to find a chassis or even know where to look. From what I see I don't think you could go wrong with an initial off of around $2000. Just the parts you have posted look in good shape and if push comes to shove and you didn't finish the build you wouldn't have a very difficult time recouping your money at that amount. If it were me and I wanted it I'd shoot them an offer and see where it goes.

Got it all out and tried to put it up onto a chassis I have. The back door is pretty rough.
I have other Model A parts so that's not to big of a deal.

Yeah I got a feel of what all is going to be needed!

Minus the chassis, what would all the parts be worth in that kind if shape. I know it's worth what someone would pay but I don't really need it but it would be a neat project down the road.

What a neat project. I hope by you mocking it up the owner doesn't get an inflated idea of its worth.
