Im gonna run a 302 on my rod. I have a 2x3 box frame. What are the best motor mounts to use. Where to get them?

I put the stock ones in and made these out of 2x2 thick wall . I webbed inside the frame then the box plate . I will be adding a gusset to the frame and mount also .

Here's what I fabbed up for my 54 F100...just a short length of drilled round stock and a few pieces of 3/16 flat stock...

Non of these look like the mounts I used to put the 302 in my '32 Ford or the Vega. Of course mine was the real original 302 GMC

Just a suggestion; when mocking up motor mounts, have the exhaust on and the steering shaft in and the oil filter on. Work around those things now rather than later.

Thanks... I can't take credit for them though... a buddy of mine that built the frame made them... using the donut type motor mount from speedway...

Thanks, thats what I thought it looked like. I mocked mine up with later stud type mounts and don't like it. I was going to go back to the older style and do something like what CharlieLed showed in his picture above. But I like the donut mount also. Decisions.
