where does your body line up in relation to stock front 32 holes in frame, also does your center bead in rear wheel well line up perfectly with center on rear axle housing?

The body holes do not line up. When I do a deuce frame for a 30/31 I pull the cowl in and slightly narrow the frame over the wheels so it will slide up inside the wheel wells. The tire should be dead nuts on the center of the wheel well.

Hope you can see the firewall line on frame .. Firewall line is at the rear of big hole used for org 32 firewall..I flatten about 8 inches of frame behind the big hole.. rear is located is 74 inches from front of firewall, where it seats on frame, to center of rear housing...

Mine is about the same in relation to that tapped hole in front of frame, tires look good in well (centered)but the center bead of the wheel well patch is not centered on the axle or wheel,i just thought because a 32 body might be a little different?

Centering the rear tire in the well is the most important step IMO. What is the stock 30-31 firewall to radiator dimention, my 354 HEMI wants to know.

The center bead/rib on the wheelwell of a model a coupe is not centered in the wheelwell from the factory. I don't know why it isn't, but it's not.

Measure the wheelwell opening from front to back, and mark the center....the mark won't be in the center of the bead. However, centering the wheel/tire in the wheelwell is the important part, and the centerline of the rear axle should match up with your mark...don't worry too much about where the stamped ribs/beads end up.

I agree 100% that getting the rear wheel/tire in the center of the wheel well is absolutely the most important part. You can figure the rest out as you go.

  9. Yep The centering is critical! The rest will fall in place.
