Now that the weather has changed it is time to get back to my project. The cab for my 31 PU was pretty sad on the lower section. The subrails were just about gone and all the cross bracing was removed. I'm in the process of replacing all these items. What I need are some measurements to help get things lined up as I go. The main dimensions that I need are Door opening top and bottom. There might be more as I go but this will be a great help. Thanks in advance for any help that can be given.
Mine has a 2&3/4" chop and the gap widens to the top but here goes the bottom inside the door jam at the sil is 27&3/4'' & inside the top is 28&1/4'' . Hope this is of some help to you. Cheers Dago.
Mine has a 4 inch chop. The tops are at least still held in position. The bottom dimension is what I really need for now. Thank you for that dimension I did not know where to go for it. Once I get the subrails in and everything solid, I'm going to lengthen the cab by 6 1/2 inches for some added room
