You know Mike I never have washed the car since I bought it, not even during all the work on it. I'm not going to break tradition now, it's going in with garage dust, well what doesn't blow off on the way....lol

 

So Does that mean it still has all those grease stains from the BBQ grille the first time you brought it to the Drags and parked by it? haha! Garage dust is in Phil...haha

 

Ha ha, the only way that hamburger grease came off was with lacquer thinner, and of course some paint along with it. That old paint is so porus the oil from your skin leaves marks on it..lol

 

Haha yeah. Ain't that the truth Phil... Cant wait to see the J.

Steve I'm excited about having my coupe in the show this year. I was just at the Fairgrounds Sunday for the Swap Meet, great time and good people. I talked to Paul and he said 9 cars we're going to Detroit this year from Buffalo area. Just goes to show the talent we have locally !!!! Be sure to post pictures of the Buffalo connection. Bruce

Well I broke down and washed the J today for the show. I can honestly say I have never watched water turn to ice while drying a car in my life ! It was freaking cold out there and the car doesn't look much different..lol

Specially the 2 shoeboxes. Id really like to see more of them, the red oxide and the black primer one. The back of the black one w/ the canted stock 'lights is rad!

There were quite a few shoeboxes at this show last year, here's a pic of another one that my buddy Joe Built, with the flathead still in it and straight pipes!

And heres another pic of the Red Oxide one, my buddy Bernie built it, it will be there this again year... in paint!!!

The grey primer one is an old Custom form the 50's! Has the original tuck n roll interior!
