    Hi folks.
I am in the early stages of a build that involves taking the Powerglide off of a 265 for a standard conversion. I have the transmission removed but there is a cast iron adapter between the trans and block that I cannot get off because the torque converter and flywheel are in the way. Any help on how to remove this would be greatly appreciated. Be gentle I am new at this stuff so learning as I go. Thanks HAMBers.

There are going to be studs that go through the flex plate that you would unbolt from the front side of the flex plate should be a asses hole to get to them or maybe through the starter hole.
