Hot Rods 26/27 T measurement please

    Would someone please measure their 26/27 ford from the bottom of the lower door hinge to the bottom edge of the body. Somewhere along the line someone has cut the bottom of my car off, and I was just wondering how much. Thanks

    One thing you have probably figured out...measurements on my 't' will be different from yours and etc.
    I have the actual hinge itself off at the moment but from the lower edge of the hinge pocket down to the bottom of the sheetmetal (wire bead on mine) is 5 3/8ths. If the hinge wre in it then it would be from the lower edge of the hinge to the bottom of the cowl. Mine is 26/7. I just posted a pic of the cowl on the thread about anybody building a t

    Hmmmmm, yes might need a different measurement because mine came in at 5" from bottom edge of door hinge. How about from the bottom edge of the belt line to the bottom of the body? Thanks for your time.

    Thanks, it sure looks like more than 3/8" has been cut off though. Hmmmmm?
