Like the thread title says ... I'm looking to run dual exhaust off Fenton headers through short mufflers and into lakepipes on my 53 Chevy 210.

Has anyone done this? If so, where did you make the crossover to the passenger side? Where did you tuck the mufflers?

I'm trying to not have it look like a plumber's nightmare.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

  2. run the crosover in front of the bellhousing

put the mufflers in stock location

and use a factory u bend to send pipes forward

you may have to cut a hole in the frame and weld a pipe in to get the sidepipe hooked up if your car is low

hell it all an experiment find some help[exhaust pro] and get er dun and use a short small bodied muffler and get the motorboat sound

    good luck

Any cutout, lakes pipe, etc. is plumbed in upstream of the muffler - that's the whole idea ... they relieve back pressure for more power.
There's just barely room between the tierods & pan to sneak the dual side through if you use 1 3/4" tubing.
