    June 24-25, 2017 @ Woodburn Dragstrip, Oregon

We had a good turnout for the race running in the Inline/Flathead class. 3 cars ran their personal best ET's.

Only one of us made it to the semi-finals before going out.

Great pic and a great group of fine looking race cars. So, what was the best e.t.

Didn't have any designated chroniclers of the event. Everyone was racing, so no videos etc.

This was the Oldies But Goodies Nostalgia Race at Woodburn. We run in the Inline/Flathead Class which is a dial your own bracket class. We had 15 cars in the class, most of them door cars. Results are here:

As far as ET's, Dave Combs # 959 in the photo just finished his car early this year. Runs a mild 292 Chevy. Went from 12's to a best of an 11.72 ET. Don't remember the MPH.

Deb Cummins, the car just behind # 4224 in the photo, got a new side-draft intake and ran a best ET of 11.81. She also runs a mild 292 Chevy.

The 3rd car, #4224 in the photo, owned by Jim Weiblen, ran a personal best of a 10.82 ET @ 120 some MPH. He runs a modified 292 Chevy.

The other two cars, #58, Scott Cummins, ran his usual 11.50 ETs. My Slant Six powered car, last one in the photo, ran it's usual 11.80's ET.

Very nice range of cars there. Sounds like a good day's racing. Do you use the Chicago shoot out format or sudden death eliminations?

Walt, real nice to see the band of 5 SDRA style dragsters and thanks for the numbers & times. Say hi to Deb & Scott for me, your cars look great. Always looked forward to the annual Oldies Race at Woodburn, OR when we lived up on Widbey Island, WA. Great race track with one of the best track crews on the West Coast. Tom
