We've made a new sign marking the HAMB area. If there's going to be a meet and greet let me know the details and I'll try to make a few announcements about it between bands.

  2. Not even Ryan!! He says " I ain't going to no hockey ass hamb meet N greet"! :)

can anyone tell me the exact location where the cars meet Friday at havre de grace, unfortunately we are going to leave early fri a.m. instead of Thursday with the storm moving up the coast. we should get into baltimore between 11 and 12, we'd like to meet up with everyone there on the way down before we check into the hotel. thanks in advance, eddie.

Autobodyed, I'm assuming the locations are the same as last year, which are:
David Craig Park (Saint John Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078), Jean Roberts Park (Otsego St & Water St, Havre de Grace, MD 21078) and Hutchins Park (Congress Street & Susquehanna River).

Look for the train bridge going over the Susquehanna River, the parks are right there..

    Hi,

For those on here that aren't on our email blast list here's the most recent email content of cars headed to The Revival. If you want to see more, click here for our email archive.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend! Don't forget to post what ya'll are bringing!

At last year's Revival party in Fells Point, Don Ward's iconic Deuce highboy was parked front-and-center next to George Poteet's FastLane-built '34 coupe. The Thursday night kick-off party has become one of the highlights of the event.

Randy Bianchi first drove his “Sunkist T” to Maryland back in 1973 for the NSRA Mini Nats East. After passing through several owners it is now in the hands of Randy Bianchi Jr. who will be driving it to Baltimore from North Jersey.

Last we heard Roy Brizio and John Mumford were in Missouri after leaving from South San Francisco, California, on Saturday. John’s four-door ’33 Vicky is featured in TRJ #64 and Roy tells us that this is the first time he has ever driven a hot rod cross-country that wasn’t a roadster.

TRJ contributor Jerry Burger will be driving up from Georgia for the second year in a row. Last year he brought his bitchin’ ’40 Ford pickup. This year he will be attending in his equally cool ’57 Ford two-door wagon.

Gary and Mary Minor are driving their ’61 Pontiac Ventura from Northern California. They also hope to have their newly purchased chopped ’50 Chevy custom at the Revival. It is an old East Coast show car that has recently made it into the Minor collection.

Ray Lark is driving out from Lake Havasu, Arizona, in his ’33 Ford highboy roadster. Ray has owned the car for decades. It is an old R&C cover car and we featured it in our Road Trip article back in TRJ #6.

Well-known Dayton, Ohio, rod builder Scott Sullivan attended last year's Revival in a bright red, slammed Henry J. This year he'll be driving the American Torq Thrust-equipped '57 Chevy Hardtop he originally completed in 1992 (shown above). The '57 is owned by Scott's good friend Jim Parsons. Joining Scott is Mike Endicott, also from Dayton, in his equally wicked, slammed '55 Chevy (below).

We featured Delaware resident Larry Rhodes’ 1933 Ford highboy coupe along side Jack Troop’s similar Deuce five-window back in TRJ #20. Larry is coming to the Revival in his coupe and Jack is driving up from Tennessee in a ’37 Ford pickup.

Leaving at 8AM in TWO 1936 Fords! Breakfast in Tappahannock, VA is a palatial treat!
See y'all at the party after we check in in Timonium and drop our stuff and stretch our legs.
Might start the party a bit early! a09.JPG

  14. Great stuff, Scooter. It's always fun watching true car guys (of which Rick and Curt definitely are) try to explain cars to "non-car guys" and that bit at the end about Chuck Palumbo is hilarious.:D

I saw 2 dark-colored roadsters (looked like deuces) heading north towards Maryland on Rt 17 in Gloucester VA this morning around 7. Was it anybody on here? I'm jealous of everyone who's going! Enjoy the show and take lots of pics for those of us stuck at home!

Hey guys. Wanted to drop a quick line about tonight's party in Fells Point because we've gotten a number of calls/emails/texts about it. It looks like this rain is pushing out by late afternoon or real early evening. We'll still be there at 5pm. We may push the bands back an hour or two obviously if there's any drizzle, but it look like somewhere around the start of the party it's going to clear up and we're going to have a good time. See everyone there!

What time does spectator gate open on Saturday morning?

  22. Hey, demonspeed, that was jacksndeuces here on the HAMB in the 32, and his buddy Tommy in the Model A. I joined up with them in my black 40 coupe around Saluda. It was an on-off type of rain/heavy mist but we're here. The Thurs nite kickoff was pretty nice - weather held up too .....

  24. If you do not do the cruise on Friday can you go to Pimlico and hang out? Vendors and food folks are open as well on Friday?

  25. Here are a couple from Thursday's KO Party at Fells Point. Good times...

You are welcome to come hang out at Pimlico Friday evening. The Rodder's Journal booth will be open, and we'll have all our Revival merch along with everything else. There will also be one food truck and a dessert truck. No other vendors will be open...it's a pretty informal affair we throw together to give us the opportunity to shoot some photos at dusk without a ton of people around. With that in mind, if you're coming down, don't hesitate to use the wide open space. No need to park too close like a real car show. We only get a couple hundred cars to this thing, so there's room to spread out (which gives us more to shoot).

Thanks to everyone who came down to Fells Point tonight. By 6:00 the drizzle was totally gone and every space in Fells Point was filled. We had a great time hanging out with everyone. See you tomorrow...

  27. Here are a few photos I took on my phone last night. Fells Point is always one of my favorite parts of this show.
