The car looks good John, I will be coming with Jeff and his 64 Ranchero
Pre-registeration is NOW CLOSED...come on down off I-65 Fern Valley Road Louisville, Ky.....free family fun, no charge to come look.....Thanks to all those that are coming, we are hoping to break 300 cars, we have 260 now!!! Ford Plant tours, Drag day at Ohio Valley, Cruise inns, drive in movie night.....come on down!! Look me up if you get down....John Howard 513-312-8799
Heading down on Wednesday the 12 from Cincy. If anyone wants to tag along I will be at the rest area off I-75 near the Richwood exit in Ky. Will be leaving about 1:00 for Louisville.
I am planning on leaving Columbus area around 7:30 - 8:00 Wednesday but with only the black 61. The wagon is not done enough to haul down. Its a bummer when you work all winter and stuff don't come together in time. But like they say if it was easy everyone would do it. BTW JW the Sprint looks good can't wait to see it. Dan
Damn I was looking forward to seeing the wagon. My guess is that you will already be trough Cincy by 1:00. Have a safe trip and see you there. I know there will be others coming down on Thursday, anyone need or want to hook up with them? Let me know and I'll see what we can setup.
Some meeting at 7am at Cracker Barrel in Milford, Ohio exit 59....COME ON DOWN.....
Who might that be? Never mind I have spoke to some more people in there will be a couple of waves headed down there on Tuesday, Wednesday an Thursday. See ya down there.
I am pulling out tomorrow at 3pm or so.....anybody wanna tag along, just call 513-312-8799
Here is a link to 400 Pix or so....
Love those Falcons.
They always made for a great gasser class racer.
Thanks! I love this '62 DeLuxe.
I was just checking in to see if Falconwagon62 had posted the flyer again....
Remember what engine is in this one?

Looks like it has an FE radiator tank and a ham can similar to the turbo 2.3:

It looks like one of the shock tower braces has been removed.
I'm wondering about the turbo fitting in there with what looks to be a stock setup. Is the 62 engine compartment bigger than the 60-1?
Interesting Falcon on the back:

Pretty sure nothing changed in the engine bay from '60-'63 except turning the battery sideways in '63 1/2 to better clear the V8. They also enlarged the transmission tunnel at that time.
John, We had a blast and congrats and thanks for being number one in Tulsa ! You and your group left us big shoes to fill!
Great coverage of the show. Thank you. Plenty of nice looking falcons!!!
Diggin' this deluxe and wagon
How did you get that paper box from the CJ paper?
We loved having all 296 of you....more pics over the weekend, I will be leading the charge for the 2013 Nationals, I can't wait, being in the show, is much more fun than hosting a show....and being #1, is a pleasure that only cost me money, we will be glad as a club, to do what ever we can to help support you guys in your efforts....
We even had a new 14 year old Falcon owner do the Patronix install in OVCFCA member, Tom Corwells 62 Ranchero! Durning the tech session ...we gotta keep the younger ones into these old cars.....
He just got a 1961 wagon, and got a million ideas of what he wants to do to his wagon!
That was a whole lot of fun and work at the Nationals. Spent so much time doing this and that I didn't get much time to view the cars. Thanks for the pics.
neither did I, Vicki Nova, and Kenny gogo Brocker took most of what you see.....
Thanks to all the Falcon guys, by you attending the show here, and the Falcon Mini Meet at the Pumpkin Run Nationals, we were able to donate $700 to the Shrine Hospital, again, very proud of all of your hard work!!! This is why we are here...Thanks again.....John
