  12. Actually when I was still living in Mexico the Mexican Govt did a Study on self sufficiency of states in Mexico and in the United States to make comparisons. That was when Gortari was president, a Harvard educated economist he was interested in that sort of thing. But I digress, in Mexico the only state that was considered to be totally self sufficient was Vera Cruz and in the United States it was the beautiful State of Texas.

Just a point of interest I suppose has nothing to do with the thread.

Now getting back to it the HAMB and salt Lake City, man I can't wait to tell Mrs beaner that we can have more then one wife. She has been wanting to retire and with several wives working she can do it. Hell maybe I won't have to sell any more projects and I can again have basic transportation. ;)

  13. There, I fixed it for you :D

  14. I remember when the HAMB hit 2,000... I thought that was pretty significant for a world-wide web based garage.

200k is alot of people. I lurk way more than I post. Ive watch the forum evolve into something different than it was. Not all for the good in my opinion. Seems like post junkies get away with anything. Newbs get slammed, when a simple answer would be less drawn out. But there is alot of talent here when you wade through the BS.

  27. I remember when I had dial up internet service and it would take me forever to look at pictures. I've been here awhile. Spent alot of time on this site over the years. I should have got more done. Damn. I lurked for about a year before signing up.

  28. Curbspeed I still remember dial up too. I can still remember people posting show coverage and warning those of us with dial up before we opened the thread.

Hey Ryan did 200,000 ever make it here and who is it? We need to throw them a party. Balloons confetti the works.

    Am I a post junkie????..... Naaaaa!:D
Whatever gave you that idea??? :)

  30. The HAMB is like a bowl of fish soup, you have to eat the fish and spit out the bones and as I recall it has been that way as long as I have been on here.

maybe it was civil then I showed up and it went to hell in a hand basket.
