nah just picked up a brush at my local paint store, found a couple colors in the storage building, watched a few videos on how it goes down and went for it! love the crap out of it!

    Very nice, for a beginner!

I bought some mack brushes and one shot a few years ago, but never got around to practicing. I should start, as I have a coupe that will be painted soon and I was hoping to accomplish my own striping job...and I don't want to mess it up.

You are a natural. One of these days I'm gonna try and do that. I'm sure mine will not look that good after only a week.

  6. looks good, one constructive thought. work on joining the lines, one thing I always notice is "I can never tell where a line starts or finishes. it takes time to be great at anything worthwhile.

  7. Ask the other stripers here what they use to lay out there work.
At first glance it looks great.
Stare at it long enough and the symetry(sp) is almost there.
I used to use a couple of reference marks on each side to keep it balanced.
The only other thing I see is where the lines meet.
    That's just a practice issue.
keep laying down paint and it will come together.

  10. Good start.

A few Stabillo guide lines will help with the symmetry.
