AG was such a part of growing up. I remember nights like that. Anyone else? Actually I'm sure we all had great nights like that growing up. Anyone else all teared up at hearing this news? Crap its like someone in the family passed away... RIP and thanks.. VonDad
Isn't what your looking for on the front page (Jalopy Journal) Ryan just posted an article that references an old tech, he shows a pic of a maroon Merc. It may not be as dark in color as you want it though. Who's car is that?

"Tie em' to the car and drag em" Thats too bad, wonder what happened. That would be awesome if they could get the Merc from the movie to the funeral. RIP
I hope this isnt a rude question...I am still a pretty young guy and I love A.G ,But which one was he? The little short guy or the taller guy?.. I also read somewhere ,Bo Hopkins has a replica of the AG Merc...I hope it will be their...... R.I.P
That's what I thought...Thanks for clearing that up for me. Prayers and thoughts are with his family.....R.I.P
Thanks for the link Axle. Thats the moment he was so exited about and couldn't stop telling me about that day.
Wow, that movie first hit TV when I was like 7. I blame it for my life long obsession with cars. It really is the first "movie" I can recall from my youth. R.I.P. Manny TopHat
So sad. Only a year older than me...My condolences to the family, and may Manual rest in peace, riding 'shotgun" into Eternity
Fixed the tranny seal today,so I shouldn't have any problems getting the Merc to Manny's funeral tomorrow.
