I have a 63 falcon wagon with a power tailgate window that is stuck up and I can't lower the tailgate with the window up. I have removed all of the screws that I can find on the interior tailgate panel but still can not get it off. Anyone know how to remove the panel to access the window mechanism? Thanks.
My rambler has a safety switch around the middle of the tailgate. If the gate is not fully shut it disables the window. You may have one with a loose wire or something. I would look under the car.
