1963 427 chevy intake

    still need info about my intake cast#0-232166 1963 427 mystery motor.does anybody know where any of these parts off these motors are.i would like to talk to other owners.all info appreciated

    Those motors are extremely rare.

    The leftovers were taken back by GM, but some racers were able to squirrel some engines and parts away. I live 6 blocks from Johnny Rutherford and he has no idea where to find such old stuff.

    It's highly likely you'll never find parts enough to build a complete engine.

    The intake is a great conversation piece to have though. I'd leave it in the condition it was found.

    I'd like to have it but even now as this economy is faltering, my 62 BelAir 409 car will likely never see restoration (by me at least).

    I was told to contact ray fox and inquire about having it displayed at daytona museum.?????beats sitting on my parts shelf in my shop where no one can enjoy it

    Floyd Garrett's muscle car museum in Pigeon Forge Tenn used to have a complete one on an engine stand for display. That is the only one I've ever seen. That was many years ago now and it may not still be there. Some of the stuff was on loan, I believe.
