SOLD **** SOLD **** SOLD The only reason I'm selling the Impala is, I bought my friend's 1958 Corvette from his widow. He owned for 44 years. I knew him and the Vette for 25 years. PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD AS MOST QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED Will consider realistic offers and dismiss the absurd. You can see the discovery and build thread on the HAMB: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1961-impala-drop-top-b-b-found-in-pole-barn.979430/ I bought the Impala 2 years ago from 2nd owner. He bought it 36 years ago as a restoration candidate. Had it at home in the garage for 20 years before driving it to where it was stored inside a pole barn when I bought it. Engine was always started and run at least once a year while stored. Number and date matching original engine, transmission and 3:08 non-posi rearend have never been out or apart except for me adding the tri-power intake. Runs, drives and stops well although I haven't driven it much. Factory power steering and brakes. Car assembled at Van Nuys in 3rd week of Feb. This would make a good SS clone. 5 original wheels and 4 nice original full wheel covers. Tires are Remington repro bias ply wide whites. 3 of the tires are weather checked/cracked and one is new. All have excellent tread and hold air.
