Guys, I have a 60 Impala in the shop for a handfull of misc jobs, one of which is to install the exhaust kit the customer supplied. The small block installed at this time has new, block hugger headers, that dump in the center. I am thinking these cars came stock with "rear dump" manifolds, am I correct? Not a huge issue, I was just wondering how much of a bolt on deal this kit will be, if I should modify the exhaust tubing or just get the proper headers.

    Thanks!

It should be center dump ram horn maniolds

  3. They came with 2" rams horn center drop manifolds. Lots of them around as they used them on most Chevy cars and trucks from 57 into the 60's.
