Technical 1958 impala wiper arm differences

Hi all I was wondering what the difference is between the vacuum wiper transmission arms and the electric motor wiper arms. I heard 58 gmc and chevy pickup electric arms are same don't know if it is true or not, here are some pics of the electric motor set up. Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

 

The 58-59 chevy truck wiper motor is the same as the 58 car motor, although the mounting bracket and transmissions are different.

Vacuum wipers have a single plate with two studs poking out, that the wiper transmission attaches to. Not as complicated as the electric motor setup.

 

So if the wiper arms will meet in middle, I may be able to stack the transmission arms to use ne of the Newport wiper motors with switch etc. Ive been looking for 2 speed wiper motor 58 impala switch, to no avail. Have not even been able to find a used one that works.

 

I used to have a few, I had a collection of the wiper motors...ended up selling them on ebay a few years ago.
