1957 Pontiac - looking for a FSM!

Anyone know where I can get a factory service manual for this car?

I have looked on ebay and haven't seen the body manual and that is the one I need for electrical troubleshooting. All the other ones are there...

You can buy them from Kanter, I think you can get a paper copy or on CD.

 

The electrical section isn't very good. Whats your problem?

This is a Canadian Poncho isn't it. Wouldn't it be the same for a Chevy than?

Its actually a wierd mix of US pontiac and chevrolet. The dash harness is pure pontiac because of the pontiac guages and switches, the underhood harness is pure chevrolet, and the body harness is sort of mixed between the two so they can all connect.

Dash lighting is out - which I have now determined is a wiring issue (there is power coming out of the switch), and the gas guage does't work, even though it as a new sender - but the guage might be bad.
