where do you check the blinker fluid on that thing?
I half expected to see the FONZ in that photo!
I gotta be the one to disagree....I think the Tbird /50 Fords look a lot better than that.
so did you buy it
I would run it as my new race car. It looked alot better than I figured it would.
wow there cant be two of them in this world.....can there??????? that looks just like one that was at show here last year it took me a minute to figure just what i was looking at and all i could think was damn what a waste of all that 57 trim that is close to being the most basturdized car i have ever seen notice i said close YIKES
I like anything that involves cutting up a tri 5 cheby !... This is awesome I would buy that!
It's an interesting piece of work, not my cup of tea (actually, I threw up a little in my mouth, ugh) but it rings the bell for being original and not just another cookie cutter kustom or chop top deuce.
that car was in owensville oh ( right across from the fairgrounds where pumpkin run is held)
how do i know?
i took those shots
it went up to northern ohio last i knew
kinda reminds me of a RAT ROD!
Ya'll are wrong- those are spyshots of government motors' bi-powered protoype retro intended for the VIP/gold-chainer demographic.
Only if my daily driver Nova had been smashed front and rear and I had the 57 parts just laying around and somebody owed me some body work...EH, probably still wouldn't do it....
its kinda like a plane crash...you know its bad ,but you cant help but look..kinda like a lesson in what you shouldnt do.
although the builder or (hack) did a halfway decent job of melding the two styles ..i cant believe im even putting a respose to this thread....
could i get Banned for this?..really guys im on the fence, please some one either plug it in, or knock me off!
I guess then using all the left over 57 sheetmetal and bumpers I have to make a 57 front end on my 96 daully truck is a no no in yall book, eh?
I kinda like it.
Okay now you asked for it! One of my favorite ones!
i dont know whether to like it or hate it. im confused! its like a well done sex change!
How about one out of a late model camaro....these are the same folks that make the t-bird shoebox thing!
Hey, at least it hits closer to home on the "retro" than the new Camaro!
HAHAHAHAHA i actually have a friend that would drive that lol DAILY lol
we call him porkchop for good reason lol
dont look that bad to me.......a little work and it could be pretty nice
i like the late camaro version pict'd above as well.
i might not run out and buy either, but the ideas are cool
finally, florida's getting it's shit together! i like it!
I know what you mean, there's something pleasingly weird about it when you first glance at it. it's when you really start looking at it is when you go.............nope. I know what it is...IT LOOKS LIKE A PRO MOD!!!!!
I'd say it's worth about $4500 if He trades it in soon !
Ruined two cars man what a shame.
With this really being the WWW (World Wide Web) it would be neat if the person that did this "creative" work could be notified that his handywork is being discussed here, and he could join and explain the reasoning.
Maybe he lost a bet. (Not defending, just wondering what would prompt someone to do all that work for heck of it)
I don't know what you guys are talking about but that thing is perfect!! If I had that car I would drive it every place I could. Think of all the people that would absolutely HATE you!! It would be fucking fantastic!!! All the idiots telling you they have a friend that has the same exact car, all the old guys wanting to kill you for ruining a 57 chevy!!! I would love every minute of driving that thing. Of course I would have to grow a mullet and sweet 'stash but I think I could live with it if that was in front of my house!
Ain't it. After all that hype they spit out that mutant. Hopefully they take a hint from the challenger before they do any more restyling. At least Pro Stock and the new Trans Am Series would be a lot more entertaining.
there should be a background check on tool sales.
