Might just as well go ahead and swap out the roof too and really keep them wondering about those proportions...

Looks to be the super rare "Gonad" prototype.

Somewhow I expected it to look worse...
Its kind of sectioned looking, with weird A-pillar wrongness.
And the fin's climb like a Caddy with that roof line!

It REALLY should look worse, though...this is not to say its good, but...not at all what I envisioned.
It IS definately better than the 50 Ford Thunderbird.

It looks like a poor mans Che-Zoom. Or whatever that purple behemoth that was featured in magazines those years ago.

    Waste of good trim.

  15. Years ago they sold street/trail bikes, they were neither.
looks like they wasted a nova and some '57 parts, but hey what ever floats yer boat... saw one of those T-Bird/shoebox deals that was a convert. it turned out ok,
maybe this would look better without the top???

The question that begs to be asked: WHY

I mean the Thunderbird deal was a newish car with all the creature comforts, an old '69 Nova ain't that. And besides, why ruin two cars to make one POS?

But I praise the builder for not doing a four-door.

Why do I keep looking at it?
Hmmmm....I think it makes me want to see a really nicely sectioned '57...
It keeps not being that, but, yet...still...it might be in there...somewhere.

Why would you even spend time and money doing that???? total loss of trim and bumpers!

  26. I kind of like it, I think it has some potential. First thing it needs though is to go hardtop.

As to why, why not? It's just a pile of old Chevy parts. And it sure would make people do a double-take on the street.
