    State: Alabama
    Price: SOLD
1956 Chevrolet 2 door sedan. Traditional style built. Not 100% finished. Here is the good stuff:
Body off restored. Started life as a 210, I added Bel Air trim. No rust.
One piece "California"style frame, sandblasted and painted metallic gray enamel. All new bushings, mounts, suspension parts such as ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, etc. New dropped front springs, power disc brakes on front.
350 4 bolt main engine, double hump heads Crane 290 Fireball cam and lifters. Bored .030 over, hypereutectic pistons, steel crank. Alum intake Holly 4010 carb, Mallory distributor, rams horns exhaust.
4 speed Muncie trans, new Hurst shifter, new U joints
Stock rearend, drum brakes, new bearings and brakes.
Nice chrome no-rust wire wheels on good tires.
New copper radiator, electric wipers, New 21 circuit EZWire harness.
Body is rust free, there was some rust holes in floor and a cut out where someone put in a floor shift so I put in all new floors from toe board to tail pan. Solid car, doors shut perfectly and easily. Louvered hood. Lee custom tail light lenses. NOS and rechromed station wagon rear bumper. All chrome is either new reproduction, replated or great condition. Replated one piece "California" front bumper. All stainless is great. Paint is '99 Mustang Chrome Yellow single stage urethane with no flaws. Always garaged, hasn't been rained on since I have had it.
All new glass except for the rear window. All new weatherstripping. New Naugahyde on original seats, new carpet, 61 Impala steering wheel. 64 Impala door handles/window cranks. Chrome garnish moldings. New heater core but I have not connected it yet.

Now here is the not as good part:
I lost interest in this car a few years ago and its not finished. It still needs the headliner installed, its a new white perforated one in the trunk.
The radio does not work, I was going to replace it.
It needs a professional exhaust system, it only has some exhaust pipes bolted to some glasspacks with no tailpipes on it now. You can drive it like it is if you don't mind loud glasspacks.
It has been sitting for a couple of years, I never really drove it except around the neighborhood. I crank it up every week and run it til its warm, so it runs fine but could use a tune up and fresh gas. And I don't want to do anything on it anymore, I need to move it on to someone else. This is a very nice car that needs only some minor finish work.
It has an open Tennessee title.
You couldn't build a car this good for what I am asking. $25,000 firm price. You can inquire, but I really have too many cars now so no trades wanted.

I have decided to relist my car again. I wanted to keep it but I need to get rid of some vehicles and this one needs to go first. I have owned it 25 years and never utilized it. I lowered the price to 25K
