Great job !!!!
well i finally did some work after i had some work done on myself of course!!
a whole load of cracks!!
and we are all smoothed out ! feels good to be back !
Welcome back! Looking forward to more great up-dates/posts from a very talented HAMBer who makes it look easy.
Did they use nutserts on that arm-bone?
Frame repairs are done and it's looking good -- maybe a little too good!
Flop will be delivering the frame back to my place to install the running gear/suspension -- and then it's back to his shop for final fitting of the body.
We're getting there -- slowly, but surely.
I just read this thread from beginning to end. I wish I lived closer just so I could drop by and meet Flop. WOW.....this is simply AWESOME work!
Nice to see some progress again.
I'd actually forgotten about this thread completely, it used to be one of my favorites.
Wicked skills Flop, can't wait to see more if it coming together.
well it looks like jeff beat me to it . we hand rivited the front crossmember back in place due to it being bolted it . that was a chore !!
also if you try doing this at home . buy a longer rivet then what the parts house sells . also make sure it is very very very tight in the holes . since this frame was bolted in using 5/16ths bolts and to save some time we used 5/16ths rivets instead of stock 1/4 jobs
some fresh paint
damn dude, this is inspirational!
Well....never thought I would lick my monitor without boobs being displayed. May have even dislocated the tongue a little. Go Steel Town. Freckin' Leonardo Da Vinci of steel, Monsieur Flop! Amazing thread, brother.
Car was sold and went to Colorado . I'll dig out the only pic of it together when I get home .
