hey guys,I've been wondering if any body remembers a 55-57 chevy specific junk yard somewhere in the mid west. I remember seeing it in an old super chevy magazine sometime in the late 70s or early 80s, does anybody know its name or if its still around & if not when did it close. Really just want the name. I cant remember it & its making me about half crazy.:eek::eek::eek::confused::D

I used to read SuperChevy when it first came out and I even went to their first few SuperChevy Shows and I kind of remember that article (can't recall the name, but then again, I am 50 years old so I burned up a few brain cells) It's been 30 + years now so I would be real surprise if that place is still around and if they are, expect high prices.
If you are looking for parts, check out this place

I remember a couple of decades ago, reading about a yard in Texas with a boat load of 55-57's. It might have been called Chevycraft? Later I read it changed hands, and ran Hemmings ads; alot of conv and h-tops.

The one in Super Chevy was Chevy Craft in Lubbock. Goggle says they're still around.

Leroy Horn in Springdale AR has crushed out a lot of cars, no longer has nearly what he used to have. Cool thing about him, he lets people browse the yard and then visits with you when you're done.
