1953 vin #'s

Just curious, I got this title for my plymouth. not excatly the one that came witht he car. if you know what i mean. So th epolice might have to come out and do a vin inspection. my question is. are there any hidden vins on this thing or did they just go by the engine number? The title i have just has the engine #, but the engine has been swapped.

the 56 plymouths we had have the engine number stamped on the frame, near the back of the car, too.
