*1951 Ford Lenses*

This may be a stupid question, but here goes!
Do 51 Ford tail lamp lenses fit into 49-50 housings??

 

nope 51s are way wider.

 

I wish they did. They're a good looking light. It's a shame you have to keep the chrome spears to run them.

 

Ive got a nice set of 50 lamps that im going to run canted on my Model A pickup. In keeping with the "show rod" theme, i was thinking it would be cool to run the 51 lenses because the look... uh, zoom-ier?! ... but, i guess thats not gonna work!
