I've got a 1950 Series 61 and am replacing the radio/speaker. Does anybody have experience with speaker/amplifier placement in these cars? e.g., 1950-195? series 61/62/deville

I'm going to replace the dash speaker with a dual coil retrosound 6x9 but beyond that, I could use some sage advice on placement of:

    1) subwoofer
    2) rear speaker(s) (just put another dual voice into the rear shelf?)
    3) best place to install the amp?
    4) use a crossover?

I haven't selected a head unit and am possibly considering just running a jack from my phone into the amp, leaving the current radio unplugged serving only as a piece of interior trim.
