Trying to buy a piece of property, with a garage on it, so that I have a place to work.

Kinda in the acquire parts and minor fab work out of my basement for now.

Thanks for the interest though. Stay tuned.

  3. Man I totally forgot about this build! I'm happy that it's still going foreward!

  4. This car is amazing, one of the most exciting things I have seen on the HAMB - great to see some baby steps!

Thanks for the interest. It really sucks to not have a shop to work on this project.
Hopefully, I will be buying a shop in the next month or so. (fingers crossed).
For now, I am doing anything that I can do to make the build go fast once I get a
    shop.

    Take care,
    VR&C.

Thanks for the kick pprather. I have been out of state much more that in state lately.
Unfortunately, the ol' Thunderturd is resting in the barn. I have gathered most of the parts needed and once I get a place to work, it'll be asses and elbows.

Hey Fenderless : No power in the Barn. Just cold storage.

Woodbutcher is right, sucks to not have a shop to work in.

Have you considered full wheel cut-outs for the rears? Just asking...

JWL115C : I have been "shopping" for a set of 1955 T-Bird skirts to graft into the 1/4's, in keeping with the Thunderbird concept.

Update : Still Sleeping in my Brother's Barn. 85% done with a Major Home rebuild/remodel. That has taken all of the last 14 months of my time. Have to
keep the Wife Happy ! ! ! I have actually been considering (not long or hard)
selling the project (as is) if I can't kick it into High Gear by the Fall of 2013.
    Stay Tuned.

So close. Don't let yourself down. How bout early Mustang bumpers?
They don't taper much, easy to lengthen, inexpensive.
Keep smilin, people think your're up to something.

  23. Keep hoping to see some updates, but you do seem to have other things to worry about!

I know I'll stir up a hornets nest with this one, but man that's a huge improvement over the shoebox already. can't wait to see where this goes.

  25. Sorry about that.

  26. Hoping that by bringing this back to the top we can pump some life back into this project. It will be very cool and different.

Still in search of a shop to rent,, etc.... so that I can kick the Thunderturd in the
    Tail.
Stay tuned. I'm working on a couple of shops now and hope to get this project back up and running within a couple of months from now.

    Thanks for the continued interest.
