This car http://public.fotki.com/Rikster/11_...i_like/buick_custom_cars/1949-buick-roadster/ appears on Rik Hoving's great list, but there's no history with it. I'm sure someone on here knows who built it and where it lives! Thanks in advance! Dave B.
Well, this was really bugging me, so I fired off an email to the Rikster himself. He very kindly (and quickly) replied that the car was owned and built by Kent Kozera of Fresno, California. He also included some pics of how the car looks now: And I swiped this one from another forum:
WOWSERS! Never seem that one before. That's a pretty serious rolling slab there. Would be interesting to know a little more of the history on that build. Also, you should be able go back and edit your first post and correct the thread title if you want.
I remember seeing it in bare steel a few years back. I think its awesome in paint, but wonder why he didn't do it shiney. And if that's the exhaust in the middle of the back, that's bitchin!
Love it. '49 Buick has some of the sexiest stock parts. The taillights and rear bumper are pure sex straight from the factory. Cool car.
Thanks ClayMart! I knew that the text could be edited, but I didn't know to look for a way to edit the title. A lot of sites don't let you do that!!
