1948 Ford pics with continental kit

Anyone have any pics of a 42-48 Ford(car) with a continental kit on it?

 

I think you can probably find some in some 50's era custom car magazines but that just sounds all wrong for some reason. Kind of like a fanny pack on a fat girl.

 

I have tons of mags;but I think your right on the fanny pack.

back when we were in HS....continental kits were called "manure spreaders" with as much disdain as we could muster. Please...do yourself a favor....think of something else to do

 

I saw a pic of one on the Japanese Local Heroes site yesterday lol! Only one I have ever seen..

 

IMHO,A continental kit on any car of the forties doesen't look right. They don't look too bad on some fifties cars.

wouldn't look right on the fat fendered ford. belong on earliest year model 1952 and later.

 

Best I remember they were just molded into the trunk lid. Try google for pics
