I've finally decided to thin the herd. I have too many to try and keep them in running order OR insure them all. 1957 Ford Pop / Anglia for sale. Stock in very good shape. If you want to build a hot rod here is a virgin steel body that looks exactly like an Anglia. Same dimensions, same wheelbase, same sheet metal etc. Very straight rust-free body. One of the few things different from an Anglia is the Pop (popular) has a steel dash. Hot rods usually need to redo the dash anyways. This pop even has the clam shell vents like a true 1948 Anglia. If you changed the spoon on the grill from “Ford Popular to Ford Anglia” very few people would know the difference. I actually did this on our 1954 Popular Ute and nobody has ever questioned me about it. Or keep it stock and enjoy this right-hand drive English Ford. We have several stock English/Australia Fords and the comment we hear most is “I’ve never seen a stock one before”. This Pop sat for at least 2 years and I put fresh gas in the tank, primed the carburetor and on the second try it started and idled fine. Mechanical parts are still easy to find. There are several sources in England and Australia that still have new parts for sale. These little things are pretty tough though. I have several of them that still have their original engines in them. Sheet metal is like any 1950's vehicle a little harder to find. Asking $12,500 or make offer. Car is located in Central California. CA title in my name and is on non-op. All vin numbers and tag are intact and match the title. If you don’t want the engine/transmission/radiator I’d take $500 off but don’t really want to be the one to pull them but will after payment. PM with any questions or my phone number.
