1947 Lincoln Club Coupe. 1 of 831 coupes built in '47. Body style is Series 76H Club Coupe. V-12 flattie w/3 spd w/OD on the column. 292 cu in, 130 HP. Factory power windows, they work fine. It's had a partial if not complete re-spray some time in the past. Paint is still very presentable, driver and cruising quality, but not "indoor show quality". 98%+ of the chrome is excellent, a few small pieces here and there have minor pitting, some pieces have been redone in the last year. Everything is original except the clock, and an electric fuel pump has been added by a previous owner. The clock still looks original, but has been converted to digital quartz, and it keeps perfect time. Runs and drives well, presents itself well. The OD tranny works well ALL the time if you manually lock it in or out; it freewheels as it should in OD, and has compression braking if in direct drive, so the mechanical side of the tranny seems to be fine. Occasionally the kick down doesn't work automatically, I feel its either a solenoid or wiring issue, I haven't chased it down. Other times it kicks in/out of OD as it should. Just being totally honest! I've found something else I want more, I'm selling this car, and another car, for the cash to purchase and room to garage the next one. It has a clear OK title and current OK license plate, even tho' one pic shows an AL plate. Contact Joe at; [email protected] or 918-857-7172.
