This is a real Henry Steel, UnChopped, Ford Deluxe Convertible. One of the most desired and coveted Fords among Hot Rodders and collectors alike. Before our recession, these cars were selling at $100,000. It won’t be long until they are back to being high dollar cars.

This beautiful 1950’s Custom 1940 Ford Convertible was built by Race Car Driver and Historian Mike Amalfitano and was then put into his Museum until his passing.

This car is unchopped, unfilled, unchanneled, full fendered, and not messed up or wrecked, as many Fords from the 30s & 40s have been over modified. The firewall is unmodified, as well. Just a real deal, real Henry Steel Car!

This is an all steel car, including doors, trunk lid, and all fenders!

It was a frame up build from bottom to top, everything has been gone through.

The build was done right. The top was not chopped. The cowl vent was not filled. The car was not channeled. The hood, fenders, grill, etc., were not modified.

The Interior and trunk area are completely finished in period correct, Blue and White tuck & roll. It is well done, looks great and shows well.

It has the original hood, grill shell, headlights, taillights, etc.

It has a nice dropped I-beam front axle set up. Very period correct.

The wheels are authentic steel wheels with period correct hubcaps. The wide whites are in great condition.

The drive train is just awesome! A Rebuilt flathead with speed equipment everywhere! Including:

    • Offenhauser Finned Aluminum heads.

    • Offenhauser dual carb Aluminum intake.

    • Two Chrome Stromberg 97 Carbs: How cool is this.

    • Polished Beehive Oil filter

    • Chrome Fuel Block with pressure gauge

    • Fenton Headers

    • Chrome Generator

    • Chrome Hood Hinges

    • Lots of Chrome everywhere.

    • No Billet!

    • New Correct Radiator

    • True Dual Exhaust all the way back

    • Glass pack mufflers

    Desoto Style bumpers.

The Grill, headlight surrounds and all Chrome is very nice.

Has the Original 1940 Dash that is very well detailed and very nice.

3 Speed Transmission with Hand painted eyeball Shifter ball.

Moon eyes Tachometer mounted on Dash.

Von Dutch Style pin striping around car. This is very well done and fits the car perfectly.

    12 Volt System.

New Correct Cloth Wiring throughout the car.

CD Stereo hidden in glove box.

    Has Vacuum assist Power Top.

    Chrome top Bows.

Finished top boot that matches the interior.

Comes with Matching rear Fender Skirts.

    It has full drum Brakes.

I could go on and on about this car, but the pictures speak for themselves.

This car was built from the bottom to top, so the underside is nicely painted throughout.

Before the recession, these cars were selling for around $100,000. As our economy is getting stronger, it won’t be long until these cars are in that price range again. Since this car was not heavily modified in any way, it could easily be put back to stock condition. All the speed equipment that would be taken off could pay for a major portion of the project.

There is a lot of time and money into this car, so please don’t bother with low ball offers.

I am asking $48,500 for it.

I am open to trades, up, down or even. I like old Fords (30s Coupes, Cabriolets, Roadsters), Woodies, Hot Rods, muscle cars, etc.

You can call me at 414-336-5438.

I am not good with checking the Hamb messages, so it is best to call me.

    Thank you,

    Mike
