This is my extremely rare Australian TJR 1940 Dodge Businessman Coupe or Doctors Coupe, it is body number 7 of 12 made. It has a golf door on the Australian passenger side (left). The Australian Dodge used a lot of Plymouth parts like fenders, hood, taillights, headlights. If you have a look at the body you can pick out a lot of differences from the Australian body to the American body style, like the door B pillar post. It is a lot of car that was strictly a two or three seater with only a bench seat in the front. And i just love the split rear window.

Yes i will be building it, out of all the cars i own, this is my favorite car of all time, i will be doing a full restoration on the body back to original, keep the Plymouth fenders but put Dodge headlights on it along with DeSoto tail lights, and do a really trick hot rod chassis underneath and run a big Hemi in it.
    Thanks for asking. Kenny.

My 41 Chrysler Windsor and 48 Dodge Club Coupe. The 37 Plymouth coupe and snagged tooth DeSoto are long gone.

I reallly love this car a lot, i have been buildiny it in my head for a very long time, my plan is to start on it in 5 to 6 years time, it should be perfected mentally by that time and my other projects will be out of the way to make a start on it. Well, thats the plan anyway. Thanks, Kenny.
