    Hey Brutha,

Some cars just call out to go Black, i think i hear your car calling old mate.
Are you in to Black hot rods at all ? You know what i mean about the calling and or screaming to go black, cars that look that sinister just become . . . . . oh yeah.

I think another thing that swayed me was your wheels, that rim and tire combo always looks good with Black.
I do like Orange too, but it looks like a Black car to me.
Nothing wrong with Primer until funds and time catch up to do nice paint my Brutha.
I know we are related, Ma Mopar said so. :D
Sweet sweet ride man, i love it and the fact it is so different, but being a Mopar is what put the cherry on top, wicked.

I've seen that car also, nice lines. It'll be a rare, good looking car when it's done. "Mr. Hudson" has a load of funky stuff on his lot. Nice guy too.

Hey Brutha, it looks like you could put a Merlin engine in that engine bay, it is huge, that thing is crying out for a HEMI, will love to see that when you are able.

Black with a Cherry, how about a full Cherry Red interior, Black exterior. Loving the whole look of your car buddy, DeSoto's are so cool. :D

I picked this up last spring and played with it it's a 1965 Polara 880 custom with a 440 big block and I did a disc brake conv. on the front all new brake lines new billet specialty rims with drag radials and m/t front tires on the motor I put a 484 mopar cam and lifters chrome valve covers alum. torker intake 750 holley and a chrome breather other than that the motor is stock and it has 276 gears which makes it a great street cruzer oh and I put a set of flow master mufflers on it to make it sound like a million bucks lol

    Here's some pix

Wow! What a change in direction on the 39. Are you planning on a roll cage to help with the chassis twist from your turbo motor? Ought to be a fun ride?

You have just gone Mopar Mad my Brutha, i am loving it ;)

I have a new name for your 39 DeSoto project, Pro Ugly. A name has never suited a car more than what you are building right their, it is un-frikkin-believable. Keep those cogs turning my Brutha, you are building a weapon and a half, i would love to go for a ride in that if i ever got the chance when you finish it.
I am soo glad your son pulled out of the project and you jumped in head first, certainly is looking well worth it totally. :D
