Technical 1932 ford pines winter front grill assembly pictures?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Hitchhiker, Jan 10, 2018.

  1. I recently bought a large stash of early ford parts, and unbeknownst to me, it included 2 dissamembled pines winter front grills for 1932 fords....

    I know....big score....

Anyways. I'm been digging thru all 22 truck and trailer full of parts and finally came up with I think everything I need to assemble these. They are both cable actuated. Does anyone have any pictures of the backside and the mechanism that turns the slats? I'd really like to assemble these before I sell them.

    Thanks!
    Hitch

Come on, this is unfair, 22 trailer loads of early ford parts and no pics, talk about death by a thousand cuts.

  9. I should clarify that that is a 70's full size gmc pickup with wood sides to the roof and a 90's ford f250 extended cab. And 10 or 12 foot trailer.

  10. Here is the first one I've been messing with tonight

Wow! Just in that pic there's at least three overheads, a B quickchange, Caddilac dash and 32 roadster dash.

Try to contact Corey Taulbert. He has access to a '32 Tudor that has a fully functional Pines insert.

Cool score, and that you plan to release some parts from long term hoarding back into use.
The hot rod gods were sure looking after you that day, you must have been dizzy. Though i imagine it was your diligence that paid off in the end.
Now we just need to persuade you to perhaps sell some B4 hop up parts our way for our new 32 project.
