Sold. Long story short, I’ve got the itch to work on other projects as usual and would like to build a garage addition to the house, so I’m putting this out there. Original framerails which had already been boxed when I got them, chassis engineering x-member, flattened factory rear crossmember, model A front. 9” ford rear, 31 spline posi 3.50:1, big bearing ends and big drum brakes. Pete & Jakes ladder bar setup and Posies spring. Old chrome hairpins up front, original round back spindles, Bass brakes and Buick drums with Wilson Welding hubs. Has a steering stabilizer to combat bump steer. Special note: The ‘32 axle that is pictured in some of the shots has been replaced. The car has a 4” drop forged SoCal axle. Spedway F1 upper shock mounts and Pete & Jakes chrome shocks. Posies front spring. F100 steering box. Ansen pedal assembly with dual ‘40 master cylinders. Stops well. ‘68 Pontiac 350 engine. I took it apart, ball honed the cylinders and reassembled with new rings, King bearings and gaskets. It has a Summit 2801 cam, comp springs and retainers. Double roller timing set, new oil pump, etc. Offy 4bbl intake, new 650 Holley carb. New mini HEI distributor. New aluminum water pump. It runs good, rear main seal has a small leak. Muncie M20 (a good used transmission, has not been rebuilt), Hurst competition plus shifter, shifts well. Older aftermarket radiator that has been repaired a couple times, car runs at 190 with the mechanical fan. Long tube headers, 2-1/4” full exhaust with glass packs. Original 15” American 5 spokes with new 5.90 and 8.20 BF Goodrich bias tires. Original grill shell that has been filled and peaked. Original insert. Original hood. The top is decent but the sides need some work (I planned on getting new 25 louver sides). King Bee headlights. ‘39 tails. Vintique gas tank. Windshield is older aftermarket from various sources. The glass is cracked. Brookville body. Original ‘32 roadster dash with Stewart Warner Ensign panel. Old Stewart warner 12v gauges, all are functional - fuel gauge does not read properly. Temp gauge is new. Aftermarket early ‘Vette column and original steering wheel. ‘Vette inside door release handles but I have the stock ones that can but put back in if you prefer. Minivan seat. Seat belts. Lokar e-brake. Battery in the trunk. American Autowire Highway 15 harness. It’s been on the road a couple months and I’ve been working out the bugs along the way. I’m pretty happy with how it drives and works now, but know it is not perfect. It’s at a good point to be taken apart for paint and interior. Asking $35,000. Still waiting on the title to come through but should be squared away and in my name within a few weeks. Come see it at the Roundup in April. There is a build thread on this car here. License plate frame and club plaque on dash stay with me.
Bump. Got the new axle in and everything adjusted. It’s just a hair lower and about 1.5” narrower but I think looks pretty good.
