Got a little more work done tonight. My Speedway order came in today, I ordered a wiring harness and drag link. Got steering buttoned up and fuel filler neck modified tonight. Here ya go...

Speedway 12 circuit wiring harness. Anybody ever used one of these? Reviews sounded good and it was cheap so figured I'd try it. Any input appreciated

    Ben,

The coupe looks great!!! I really like the shot of the rear from across the garage.

Hey man sorry haven't been on here in a bit. I will try to get those measurements for you, but I am very confident that they will not be the same as a factory 32 chevrolet as I did not have much to work with and have fabricated/modified all that. This was an old dirt track body with no wood, so it has been built back not worrying if factory dimensions were kept.

So does that mean I get free tools :p

Ha naw man I've got that 72 C10 im trying to get done by then but I just realized i can't get it in cause the cutoff is 1967. You need to sell that thing for me to one of your fellow Dayton folks!

Thanks I appreciate it. Starting to feel like it'll never get done! Hey didn't I send you a copy of my frame CAD drawing a while back? Did you ever build yourself a frame? Got any pics if you did?

Got my MSD 6AL box and Speedway 12 circuit wiring harness mounted today. I've never run an ignition box on a car before, does this look alright the way I've got it in the car? Also, I have the top and bottom right bolts and bottom left bolt securing the box, but left the top left out because I will have to add a brace to support it. I figure the box oughtta be alright like that but input is welcome. Thanks

Had to roll the car outside so decided to take a picture

Finally an update! Got door latch situation figured out. Got body pulled back off frame and taken to Dad's shop for some body work soon. Trying to finish welding up my frame and get it painted and chassis rolling by springtime. And of course, here's some pictures...

Anyone who takes on a Chevy project using the 29-32 body has their work cut out for them. The wood becomes a problem. After a visiit with my Shrink (My wife) I found a craftsman who fabricates steel replacment parts to get rid of the wood. Then I got my sanity back and still drive a four door '32 Confederate evey day 22 miles. Fun to drive and gets a lot of attention too. The old ladies in my town always ask me to take their photo with this great old piece of iron. One even told me her first tryst was on a right front fender because they couldn't fit in the back seat.

Been welding, cutting, and grinding away. Got brackets welded onto my rearend and got it tore apart ready to sandblast. Sleeved the frame in a few places (trans crossmember bolt holes and 4 link bar bolt holes. Not much has changed, just trying to get this frame ready to sandblast as well. Here are some pictures for entertainment though...

Thanks man yeah love those early Chevys. My dad's got a 34 master 4 door sedan I love his car. That wood sure is a bitch though ha. I'll trade you for that 3 window of yours whenever you're ready :p

Thanks for the kind words. I see you're from Henderson, do you ever make it to any shows/cruise-in's over here towards middle, TN?
