First let me start out by saying that this is a very, very nice car, well built and as traditional as you can get. We recently purchased this car with the intent of some changes/upgrades to a early 70s style car but it is simply too nice as it is to mess with it. We have another in pieces that will better lend itself to the mods. This is an excellent, all steel coupe chopped about 2" but unfilled on a very nice aftermarket 32 chassis that is correctly designed for the 31 shell. Everything that glitters is not gold and this one has very little glitter anywhere. Built as a driver with a gorgeous interior this coupe is powered by a stout 350; mild cam, three new style 97s, accel electronic distributor and polished(there's the glitter) rams horn exhaust with very nice pipes from there back to the tips(more glitter). Three pedals with hydraulic clutch to a Saginaw 4-speed and an eight inch Ford rear(3.00). Vega steering, transverse springs(40 rear), Walker radiator and 40 style steering wheel. Check out the front brakes, you don't see that too often along with a new truck master cylinder and slave cylinder. Tires are Excelsior radials 5.00 and 7.50 on new, powdercoated steel wheels, they sure don't give these away. This little car starts, runs, drives and stops very well. As it is if I were to change anything it would be to go to progressive linkage on the carbs and a little more rear gear. On the other hand if your intent is 70 mph most of the time you are ready to go. Some of you will notice we have removed some lettering and changed the shifter but everything else is as built 11k miles ago, if you are tall you can drive this car, short you may need a pillow. The car is titled/registered in my name in NY and has a transferable registration. Low ballers go elsewhere, we're not broke. Thanks!
Will look at interesting trades plus cash. Always looking for vintage aircraft, motorcycles and race cars.
Will look at late 2006 and up Harley Dyna or Softail trade plus cash or C5 Corvette fixed roof coupe 6-speed only plus cash trade.
