I am rebuilding a 1931 Chevy frame and need some dimensions if anyone can help. I have the front and rear sections only. I am missing approx 4ft.
Can anyone tell me the overall length of the stock frame?

I'll get back to ya. I have a 28 and a 29 frame for measurements.

I don't know if this will help but the 28 sedan frame is 149 inches form the front spring eyelet to the rear spring eyelet. the 28 wheel base is 107 inches, and I think the 31 wheel base is longer?

  3. Check the classifieds for the rolling parts chassis. It,s at the top now and the guy is online. Maybe you can still get some work done today. :D.

  4. Don't usually mess with anything earlier than '34 so I can't give you the overall length, but the wheelbase did grow to 109 inches in '31.

Measured along the top of the frame from end to end is 155". Sorry for the delay.
