There's more complexity to assembling them. Some more welding and what not that comes out in the final price. Both make awesome hot rods.
How can it be your "dream" when you know nothing about it???? Just get yourself a cheap 32 fiberglass body and some billet parts and your dream will come true.....
The 32 body pobably has a better resale. Regarding room unless you plan to have more than two people in the seat area, then room shouldn't make the difference. The door on the 30/31 overlap so door adjustment isn't so critical. Gas tank also should not be a factor. Frame appearance depends on whether the car will be full fendered or the high boy look, regardless the 30/31 body will fit on a 32 frame with a little alteration to the frame. Personally, 4G's is a big nut and I would look for someone that wants to sell a slightly used Brookville body.
Well, I am a '32 guy,no if's and's or buts,,,if I were to build a roadster other than a Deuce it would be a 29 on 32 rails,,,they just look like hot rods. HRP
I agree with you HRP,'29 on a '32 frame is damn fine. I had a steel '32 roadster in the early eighties but like '28-'29s a bit more now and my RPU a bit more than that. JW
Here's my 2 cents worth. I think a 28-29 body on 32 rails is the way to go. It looks sleeker and the body doesn't look as fat as a 30-31 or 32. To me the curved and sloping cowl is way classier than the straight hood on 30-31 & 32. I guess you can tell I'm a 29 guy.
Can't believe someone is at the point of purchase and doesn't know the difference between a 30/31 and a 32! Houston we have a problem LOL Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
